ommunications Data Group, Inc. (CDG)
announced it has promoted Michael A.
Chalk to vice president of Product
Development.
In his new role, Chalk has the responsibility
of defining and executing product development
strategy for MBS, CDG’s robust, scalable Web and
mobile billing solution. He is in charge of assem-
bling and managing the product development and
conversion groups, comprised of programming,
design and tech support specialists. In addition, he
will work closely with the company’s client partners
during conversions to CDG’s MBS product.
CDG’s President and CEO Bob LaBonte called
Chalk’s promotion well-deserved. “Mike has demon-
strated a unique ability to listen to customers, under-
stand their businesses’ place in our changing industry
and incorporate this information to build a stronger,
more responsive product for our clients.
“Mike’s business experiences give him a perspec-
tive not often found in a manager responsible for
product development that clearly shows in the
success of MBS to date,” LaBonte added.
Chalk recently served as manager of CDG’s MBS
Programming. He joined CDG more than 15 years ago
and has 30 years of experience in software design,
development and management, with 20 years in the
telecom industry.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science fromTruman State.
