VOSS Appoints Skype for Biz Chief

VOSS Solutions has announced that Christopher Martini has joined the company as vice president of Skype for Business (SfB).

Based in California, Martini comes to VOSS with over 20 years of experience in communications technology with a focus on the Microsoft stack and ecosystem. He has spent time as a Microsoft employee, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and as an enterprise IT customer. Prior to VOSS, he was VP of Skype for Business at Connect Solutions.

Mike Frayne, CEO at VOSS, said, “VOSS-4-UC has a long history of managing Cisco UC applications and services. However, our customers are increasingly deploying VOSS-4-UC to manage hybrid Cisco and Microsoft UC environments. This is why we have taken the decision to hire Christopher to lead us in this space.”

Martini added, “Skype for Business is such an exciting market right now, and Skype for Business technology has the potential to interoperate very well with Cisco UC. Over the last several years as I have spoken with more and more enterprise customers, one thing has been tremendously clear: getting the most out of your UC investment, especially for large enterprises taking a multi-vendor or hybrid deployment approach, still presents tremendous challenges. The new offerings from VOSS in this space are the most exciting in the industry. I’m looking forward to working with VOSS customers and partners to help them get the most out of this critical investment.”
