Accelsius Promotes New Chief Marketing Officer

Accelsius, which focuses on innovative, two-phase, direct-to-chip cooling technology, promoted Liz Cruz to CMO and appointed Lucas Beran as director of product marketing.

Cruz – who formerly served as senior director of product marketing and business development – is regarded as instrumental in driving the company’s product marketing strategy and market expansion. Beran, meanwhile, is a longtime market analyst and research director, covering the physical infrastructure of data centers. His deep expertise and market insights is expected to help drive growth following Accelsius’ successful $24 million Series A funding round.

“Liz’s promotion to Chief Marketing Officer reflects our commitment to developing strong leadership from within. Her deep understanding of our technology and proven ability to drive market strategy makes her the ideal person to lead Accelsius’ marketing team,” said Josh Claman, the CEO of Accelsius. “Lucas is recognized in the industry as one of the leading global data center analysts. Adding his extensive market intelligence and industry expertise strengthens our leadership team at a crucial time when data centers are adopting advanced liquid cooling systems to support AI workloads. Together, they have an extensive global network of data center experts that helps extend our growing partner ecosystem and accelerate our mission to deliver innovative cooling solutions to our customers.”

As CMO, Cruz will spearhead Accelsius’ marketing strategy and brand development, working with Beran to drive customer acquisition, enhance brand identity and further entrench Accelsius as an innovator and thought leader. Former CMO, Rich Perley, will transition to the role of strategic advisor, continuing to leverage his decades of industry experience to guide market positioning and growth strategies.

“Having been a part of Accelsius’ journey, I’ve watched our technology evolve from an innovative concept to a critical solution for modern data centers,” said Cruz. “Today’s computing demands are pushing thermal limits like never before, and data centers need cooling solutions that can efficiently scale with their ambitions. I look forward to working with our team to empower our channel partners and to help customers overcome these challenges while building a more sustainable digital infrastructure.”

“I’ve analyzed the data center cooling market extensively, and it’s clear that two-phase direct-to-chip cooling will be essential for supporting next-generation computing demands,” Beran said. “Accelsius is uniquely positioned to lead this transformation, and I’m eager to help customers realize the full potential of our technology.”
