Eyeing a move into vertical markets, Alteva has launched a hosted Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solution engineered specifically to serve the legal community.
The solution, available via channel partners, is designed to address the unique needs of a law office, including offering enhanced mobility, audio and Web collaboration, unified messaging, voice response, call recording and reporting services with multiple options to capture billable hours.
“We know law firms want to maximize their productivity and billable hours, and we’ve enabled their communications to do just that,” said Mike Timar, vice president of product management at Alteva. “With Alteva’s UCaaS solution, attorneys can seamlessly communicate with anyone, anywhere, with detailed tracking.”
The suite includes HD Voice Hosted PBX, which is phone service with billable hours reporting and voicemails received with e-mail; a range of UC productivity tools including presence, screen sharing and instant messaging; Hosted Exchange for email and a shared calendar solution; Alteva Anywhere to support mobility; Legal Collaboration, an audio and Web conferencing application; Alteva Archive call recording and message archiving; and an auto attendant.
“We came to Alteva with a very simple requirement, ‘make it easier for us to conduct business,’” said Michael McEvoy, managing partner at Alteva customer Harter Secrest & Emery. “We are very excited to learn that the Alteva UCaaS solution does exactly that and look forward to exploring its capabilities.”
