American Tower announced Eugene “Bud” Noel, the EVP and president of its U. S. Tower Division, as EVP and COO. He takes over this newly created global position on Mon., Jan. 13. In this role, Noel will oversee American Tower’s global operations and IT, further effectuating strategic priorities to drive operational efficiency and provide best-in-class services to its global customer base.
Noel joined American Tower in 2011, and brings over 25 years of experience in wireless real estate development and operations, including leadership positions with Sprint Nextel and LightSquared. During his tenure in operations, Mr. Noel drove operational excellence across American Tower’s U.S. business through efficiency, asset quality, technology and customer service.
Current SVP and general counsel, Richard Rossi, will succeed him.
