Awake Security has received $36 million in Series C funding, bringing their total funding to about $80 million.
Now, the company is getting serious about growing their channel program. Awake currently drives about 20 percent of its business through the channel. Their goal is to bring this figure to 85 to 90 percent. The latest round of funding will be used to add additional sales engagement resources, boost channel marketing, and build out their partner program.
Awake has increased its annual recurring revenue by close to 700 percent and doubled its employee headcount over the past year. The company has displaced several established vendors, including those using AI-based techniques, and has established itself as a market leader for network detection and response, shadow IT, remote worker and contractor security, digital network packet forensics and threat hunting.
Awake is also offering 60 days of free access to the Awake Security Platform for hospitals and other healthcare facilities that are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. The free offer includes access to Awake Security software and licenses, managed network detection and response, Awake Lab’s researchers and incident responders, and remote deployment assistance and customer success services.
