Broadview Networks is partnering with consumer electronics giant RCA to roll out a new hosted communications service specifically designed for small and home-based businesses. It is the first service from Broadview to be available in retail stores.
The RCA IP Phone Service is powered by Broadview Networks offers PBX functionality, “while saving them as much as 50 percent compared to their traditional phone service,” Broadview said.
The system is also customizable and scalable for companies with multiple offices and changing business needs, with support for remote locations and direct-extension dialing to an employee’s home office.

Included in the monthly service are numerous features, including a digital receptionist, customizable voicemail, voicemail delivery over e-mail, music on hold, call transfer and caller ID with name. Users can make changes to their system preferences via a self-management website, and can make use of features like cell phone twinning.
