CenturyLink Cloud Marketplace Adds Zentera Cloud Security

Zentera Systems‘ infrastructure security solution for the multicloud ecosystem has joined the CenturyLink Cloud Marketplace Provider Program.

The Zentera Cloud over IP (CoIP) solution is an on-demand virtual network overlay that provides multicloud security and networking together with network encryption, east-west microsegmentation and application whitelisting. It is IP-network and cloud-agnostic in its design, supporting virtual machines (VMs), containers and compute endpoints, and can be deployed rapidly without interfering with existing infrastructure or security measures.

“At CenturyLink, we sit at the heart of enterprise networking and cloud-based applications,” said David Shacochis, vice president of cloud platform at CenturyLink. “It’s an amazing time for software-defined network innovation, and Zentera is an example of agile network management technology that business customers can incorporate into their hybrid cloud architecture. Having Zentera’s technology on the CenturyLink Cloud Marketplace enables customers to quickly purchase and easily deploy their solution through automation, and put it on their CenturyLink bill.”

The CenturyLink Cloud Marketplace Provider Program allows participating technology companies to integrate their solutions with the CenturyLink Cloud platform. These add-on solutions are available to CenturyLink’s cloud, hosting and network customers, and via channel partners.

“CoIP is unique in its ability to integrate its defense-in-depth security capabilities with CenturyLink’s telecom-grade cloud service offering,” said Jaushin Lee, Zentera’s founder and CEO. “With CoIP, CenturyLink offers a complete security solution that includes overlay service connection isolation, shielding and filtering across widely used clouds such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. This integration complements our existing integrations with industry-leading security providers as we expand our profile in the multicloud ecosystem.”
