GitGuardian, which specializes in non-human identity (NHI) and secrets security solutions, has launched a channel partner program for VARs, solution providers and MSSPs. The company’s end-to-end platform helps software-driven organizations secure exposed credentials and API keys while managing NHIs and their lifecycles, officials said.
Under the partner program structure, sales reps earn the same commission on partner deals as direct sales, while also receiving financial incentives and protection based on their role in a deal. In addition, partners maintain rights to renewals for the customers they bring in, the company said.
The program also offers marketing and PR support including marketing development funds for events, webinars, content and lead generation. Partners also have access to co-branded collateral, sales scripts and prospecting guides as well as joint press releases, blog posts and social media campaigns. There are also co-developed customer case studies and testimonials.
“Our channel-first philosophy isn’t just marketing. It’s built into how we compensate our teams and protect our partners,” said Lynne Lopez, director of partnership at GitGuardian. “When our sales reps earn the same commission whether they work with a partner or go direct, they become true collaborators, not competitors.”
“As secrets security becomes mission-critical for every enterprise undergoing digital transformation, our channel partners play a critical role in supporting detection and response at scale,” said Alex Rich, VP of sales and channel, U.S. “We’ve designed our program based on direct partner feedback with the goal of ensuring our partners can build thriving, high-impact secrets security practices.”
