Gradient MSP Fuels Innovation Cycle, Expansion Plans

Executing against its global growth plan and founding vision, Gradient MSP announced $10.25 million in Series A funding. The investment is led by Anthos Capital with participation from StoneMill Ventures, Gula Tech Adventures and Accelerate Fund III.

“We are excited to share the news of our Series A funding, and very motivated by the immediate and long-standing impact this flow of capital will have on our ability to inspire and empower today’s MSPs with more intelligent business automation — netting them greater customer value and ultimately making it easier to account for and get paid for everything they do,” says Colin Knox, CEO, Gradient MSP.

Field research from Gradient MSP notes the average MSP is missing out on up to 10 percent of their monthly recurring revenue (MRR) billings. “Far and wide, MSPs do not have access to the insights or technology needed to make better business decisions, solve administrative challenges and create a kickass experience for everyone — and to top off the list, they are not capturing or being paid for all the services they deliver,” noted Knox. “Gradient MSP is on a mission to change this reality on a global scale in 2022.”

As part of Gradient MSP’s master plan, the Canadian startup is using the investment funds to accelerate its “do well by doing good” strategy across three main categories:

  1. Technology Innovation
  2. Company Expansion
  3. MSP Enablement.

More specifically Gradient MSP is:

  • Introducing its next wave of technology innovation – Billable – a trademarked, automated billing reconciliation solution making its debut in the channel later this month
  • Hiring 30 new team members in the next three months and another 20 by the end of Q1 2022, bringing the company to more than 60 full-time, fully remote workforce
  • Expanding its partner resources to include more in-person and on-demand training and events, as well introducing a new series of in-depth research with localized, regional, and global MSP performance trends & insights

Gradient MSP is unveiling its vision for the future of the IT channel on November 17, at the company’s virtual industry conference Leg Up (www.legupconference.com). MSPs and global channel vendors are welcome to attend free of charge.

In addition, Gradient MSP continues to advocate for an open ecosystem — offering the industry frictionless access to its platform for MSPs, and an open API for any channel vendor to integrate across eight PSA platforms including ConnectWise, Datto, Kaseya, Syncro, Tigerpaw, HaloPSA, Pulseway, and Accelo for reseller billing reconciliation with a single integration.

Channel vendors can email api@meetgradient.com for documentation and access.
