GTT Communications partnered with Corero Network Security, which focuses on DDoS protection, to expand its DDoS Protection and Mitigation capabilities. This includes the launch of new scrubbing centers, integrated with GTT EnvisionCORE, in Sao Paolo, Hong Kong and Miami.
The expansion brings its total presence to 13 locations worldwide, and is expected to enhance performance, reduce in-region latency and increase capacity for mitigating large-scale attacks. The partnership enhances GTT’s scrubbing capacity, increasing it to 4Tbps to allow it to absorb and neutralize attacks, better secure mission-critical applications and, via Corero SmartWall ONE DDoS protection, deliver sub-second detection and mitigation.
