HGC Global Communications (HGC), a global ICT service provider and network operator, has launched its Mobile Intelligence API Platform (MAP) for mobile network operators (MNOs). The launch builds on HGC’s partnership with the GSMA via its participation in the Open Gateway initiative as a channel partner. It’s designed to enable MNOs to launch a range of mobile intelligence APIs in line with the CAMARA specification supported by Open Gateway and underscores HGC’s commitment to advancing the global mobile intelligence ecosystem, the company said.
The platform is intended for MNOs to deploy a full suite of mobile intelligence APIs using their network data. This allows them to take a proactive role in the digital ecosystem, strengthening user protection and trust through security-focused services such as Number Verify, SIM Swap and more than 30 additional APIs, officials said.
The one-stop shop platform offers API enablement, billing, monitoring and reporting services, while bridging the gap between MNOs and the global developer community. In addition, every API developed on the platform can be integrated with HGC’s established global mobile intelligence marketplace, granting instant access to its network of enterprises ranging from financial institutions to application-driven businesses, the company said.
“We are seeing a surge in demand for standardized mobile intelligence APIs, as they empower MNOs to contribute to user security services and unlock new revenue streams,” said Irfan Abubaid, VP of global messaging and digital services, international business, for HGC. “To meet this need, HGC launches a platform which aligns with GSMA’s initiative and CAMARA specifications, helping MNOs build and deploy standardized APIs with ease.”
“HGC’s Mobile Intelligence API Platform empowers MNOs to launch APIs such as Number Verify and SIM Swap,” said Niklas Bergvall, head of mobile identity solutions, international business, at HGC. “Designed as a one-stop platform, it simplifies API deployment, billing, monitoring and reporting, enabling MNOs to strengthen user trust while unlocking new revenue streams from existing data.”
