Ingram Micro Inc. has promoted Mark Snider to senior vice president and general manager at Ingram Micro Canada.
“For nearly seven years Mark has successfully led the Canadian business, transforming it into a large and significant contributor to Ingram Micro’s global operations,” said Paul Bay, president of North America at Ingram Micro Technology Solutions. “We are pleased to recognize Mark’s leadership, innovation and relentless dedication to our channel partners and associates within Canada and across North America.”
Ingram Micro expanded its relationships in Canada with several key vendors including Cisco, Citrix, DELL, HP, Intel, Lenovo, Microsoft, and Samsung. It has also integrated several of its business units, creating a portfolio of solutions, services and support resources for its Canadian channel partners who specialize and support advanced technologies, cloud, consumer electronics and retail, digital signage, data capture/point of sale and mobility solutions and services.
In 2014, the Ingram Micro VentureTech Network (VTN) inducted Snider into the VTN Hall of Fame, which is the highest honor an executive or member of VTN can receive from the elite partner community.
“Mark is a strong leader who has earned the trust and admiration of channel partners throughout North America by listening to our needs, understanding our businesses and helping us to strategically align with Ingram Micro, our peers and our vendor partners to build a more successful business,” says Jason Gorjan, vice president of Central Microsystems and co-president of Ingram Micro’s VTN community.
