Leaseweb, a cloud services and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) provider, has appointed Jan Willem des Tombe as global strategic relations director. Des Tombe will focus on Leaseweb’s global market narrative, increasing industry visibility, and supporting strategic growth initiatives across marketing, communications, sales, partnerships and M&A.
Des Tombe has more than two decades of experience in the TMT, SaaS, IT managed services, cloud, workspace, and e-commerce sectors, including scaling businesses, developing commercial strategy and organizational transformation, officials said. Previous career stops include Reckitt Benckiser, Tripolis Solutions (now Spotler) and KPN Interned Services. He also founded and chaired public-private industry platforms DHPA (now Dutch Cloud Community) and DINL.
