Legacy Investing Hires Jackie Steinberg as Channel Chief

Legacy Investing has hired data and technology executive Jackie Steinberg to the newly created role of channel chief. Steinberg will join forces with Legacy co-founder and Managing Partner Daniel English to launch the firm’s channel-first strategy to help data center users access near-term, ready-for-service power with execution on liquid-to-chip deployments.

New York-based Steinberg will build a channel ecosystem to advance the company’s ability to connect data center users to capacity via TSDs and trusted advisors.

Legacy’s history has been in developing and empowering data centers since before the cloud. With more than 25 years of real deployment experience, the company has built, invested and deployed turnkey and powered shell infrastructure for every stage of the digital era, from enterprise colocation to cloud to AI, officials said.

“Jackie’s leadership and clear vision for partner-centric growth are invaluable as we deploy our channel strategy,” English said. “Our focus is building meaningful partnerships with the channel ecosystem, so that together we can connect users with timely, ready-to-deploy data center capacity. Jackie’s experience and depth of relationships align with our commitment to meeting the needs of both the channel and their customers.”

Steinberg has held previous leadership roles as channel chief for DartPoints, national partner development manager at AT&T and regional channel director at Comcast Business Nitel. She’s also board member for the Alliance of Channel Women.

Steinberg has experience as a channel ecosystem advocate and infrastructure leader. In her role at Legacy, she’ll lead the design and deployment of initiatives that support channel partners on meeting the demand for data center capacity, officials said.
