Agents and VARs have a new opportunity for bundling solutions: Masergy Communications has announced that its Masergy Intelligent SIP Trunking service is now Avaya-compliant.
Masergy Intelligent SIP Trunking offers a way to transition legacy voice systems to a hosted unified communications model. The service is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Aura Communication Manager 6.2, Avaya Aura Session Manager 6.2 and Avaya Session Border Controller for Enterprise 4.0.5.

Masergy is a technology partner in the Avaya DevConnect program—an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.
As a technology partner, Masergy is eligible to submit products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. A team of Avaya engineers then develop a comprehensive test plan for each application, to verify whether it is Avaya compatible, thus speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.
