MegaPath Corp. has announced that its SIP trunking service is compliant with Avaya IP Office.
SIP trunking helps businesses transition their legacy voice systems to a cloud-based solution that lowers costs, centralizes technology and simplifies management. MegaPath’s application is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya IP Office 8.1.
MegaPath offers SIP trunking for single-site businesses, and enterprise trunking for multi-location businesses. It can be purchased as a fully integrated voice and data solution over MegaPath’s nationwide network, or as a standalone solution where customers bring their own broadband.
When SIP trunking or enterprise trunking are combined with MegaPath data connectivity, voice traffic is prioritized over MegaPath’s MPLS-enabled, all-optical IP network, with Quality of Service (QoS) for voice quality.
