Momentum Telecom has appointed William “Bill” Fox as its new President & CEO. Fox will take over the position formerly held by Momentum’s founder and board member, Alan Creighton, making him the company’s second CEO.
Creighton will remain on Momentum’s Board of Directors and stay closely involved with the company through the transition, said the company.
With more than three years of experience at Momentum, Fox has played a role in the company’s merger and acquisition strategy, acted as interim Chief Financial Officer in 2011 and continues to serve as a member of the Board of Directors. Fox previously served as Chief Financial Officer of SuccessEHS, Inc, a software and services company for physician offices with approximately 400 employees. He has experience as an investment banker with Lincoln International, where he specialized in debt capital financings for middle market leveraged buyouts, and worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, which provides audit and assurance, tax and consulting services.

Along with new leadership announcement, Elizabeth Pharo, Chair of Momentum’s Board of Directors, and Creighton announced a significant equity commitment from the Board of Directors, which will help fund further expansion of sales initiatives and cloud service offerings.”This investment from the board shows a strong commitment and enthusiasm from our stakeholders, and I believe that Momentum is in an incredibly strong position in the communications industry,” said Fox. “I am excited about my new leadership role at Momentum and the remarkable opportunities that lie ahead.”
