NRS Offering Free POS System to Retailers Affected by Los Angeles Wildfires

POS systems provider National Retail Solutions (NRS) announced an initiative to support the California retailers affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles. In a demonstration of solidarity and commitment to community recovery, NRS is now offering free POS systems to retail businesses in any zones that were impacted by the devastating fires.

“Our hearts go out to the retailers and communities impacted by the devastating Los Angeles fires,” said Elie Y. Katz, NRS’ CEO and president. “We understand their profound difficulties in rebuilding their businesses and lives. Offering free POS systems is one way we hope to provide a small measure of relief and demonstrate our unwavering commitment to supporting these communities during this challenging time.”

Eligible merchants can contact NRS by calling 732.325.4918. To qualify, merchants must provide a valid California-issued business license, Tax ID/EIN and the exact location of their store within the affected area. Approved retailers will receive a POS system, with or without NRS Pay services. The offer is valid for current NRS merchants and new merchants with businesses directly impacted by the fires.

NRS operates the POS terminal-based platform and NRS Pay credit card processing for small and mid-size independent retailers. With thousands of active terminals across the U.S. and Canada, the custom-built POS system includes features such as inventory management, sales tracking and marketing tools, empowering store owners to compete and thrive against the competition.
