NUSO, a global provider of cloud communications, announced a strategic partnership with Intuity, which specializes in Microsoft Teams deployments for secure government environments. The companies will offer a fully managed, compliance-ready Microsoft Teams calling solution purpose-built for Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) High and Department of Defense (DoD) tenants.
By combining NUSOflex enabled carrier services with Intuity’s Microsoft GCC High expertise, the solution is designed to enable government and defense organizations to securely integrate voice services directly into Microsoft Teams without the need for on-premises hardware, officials said.
“Federal agencies and defense contractors face some of the most stringent compliance requirements in the world, and until now, enabling secure voice in GCC High has been a complex challenge,” said Matt Siemens, CEO at NUSO. “Our partnership with Intuity delivers a compliant Teams calling solution that closes a critical gap for DoD and defense ecosystems.”
The solution’s compliance-first Architecture is designed to meet FedRAMP High, DFARS/NIST 800-171, ITAR and CMMC Level 2/3 requirements. It’s hosted entirely in Azure Government with 100 percent U.S.-based infrastructure and support, officials said. In addition, the offering’s cloud-native simplicity is intended to eliminate on-premises session border controllers (SBCs) with preconfigured direct routing, turnkey number porting and continuous monitoring, officials said.
The solution will also feature NUSO’s national SIP coverage with exclusive inbound call redundancy (NUSOflex) for uninterrupted calling.
“This is more than a technical integration, it’s about trust,” said Jay Faulconer, CEO at Intuity. “DoD agencies and defense contractors can now enable voice inside Microsoft Teams with confidence that their communications align with the strictest federal compliance standards.”
