Panasonic Corporation of North America Appoints Next CEO and Chair

Panasonic appointed Megan Myungwon Lee as Chairwoman and CEO for Panasonic Corporation of North America. This body operates as the principal North American subsidiary of Panasonic.

For her part, Lee succeeds the departing Michael Moskowitz. The executive has more than 30 years of executive experience, and is the current Chief HR Officer and VP, Corporate Planning and Strategic Initiatives. She has also filled numerous senior leadership roles to spearhead new business initiatives, strategic planning, digitization of HR management and diversity, equity and inclusion strategy in both the U.S. and Japan. Lee is also the acting Chair of the Panasonic Foundation, which focuses on advancing equity in STEAM education.

Moskowitz was named Chairman and CEO in 2019, after stints with Panasonic Canada and Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company.

Lee takes office on October 1, 2021.
