PPC Broadband, Amphenol Enter into Global Patent Partnership

PPC Broadband Inc., a Belden brand, and Amphenol Corporation announced a global partnership in the home networking field, which will encompass a range of inventions and create broader availability of multimedia over coax and other solutions for system operators worldwide.

The agreement is intended to improve access to components to optimize network reliability and efficiency, enabling the companies to support global customers and the advancement of next-generation broadband networks.

PPC has pioneered many of the advancements available in the broadband industry and is a leader in the design and manufacture of connector technology for the telecommunications and satellite industries globally.

Amphenol is a worldwide designer, manufacturer and marketer of electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors, interconnect systems, antennas, sensors and sensor-based products as well as coaxial and high-speed specialty cable.
