PTC Announces PCCW Global’s Sponsorship of its 2021 Webinar Series

The Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC) announced Monday during its annual convention in Hawaii, the continuation of its 2021 PTC Webinar Series: Frictionless Business will be sponsored exclusively by PCCW Global.

Starting on February 17 and continuing each third Wednesday of every month through November 2021, the webinar series will provide leaders, investors, analysts, technologists, academics, and others guidance on new trends and priorities.

Industry players will share perspectives ranging from edge computing to satellite, organizational leadership to digital transformation, and investment outlooks to rapidly evolving technologies, such as AI and blockchain.

The sessions weave today’s key challenges with breakthrough ideas and emerging innovations.

“I’m looking forward to these webinars as a new and exciting initiative for PTC to showcase our members and colleagues in the industry to share their valued content,” said Sharon Nakama, CEO of PTC.

The first session will be “Putting the Edge to Work,” and it will begin at 2 p.m., Hawaii Standard Time (7 p.m. EST).

The panel for this webinar will highlight the intersection of new technology capabilities such as the Internet of Things, 5G and edge computing resources, and how they will enable new applications such as autonomous vehicles and smart cities while creating business benefits such as enhanced customer experience, reduced cost and increased revenues.

The 2020 PTC Webinar Series sessions are available to view anytime on PTC’s website.
