Vertex Wireless weighs in on the latest trends, devices and opportunities for Samsung resellers in 2026
All signs point to Samsung continuing as a top-selling business OEM for tablets and smartphones in the coming year, with organizations drawn to Samsung’s durability, customization and product diversity. Samsung’s high-quality, cost-effective rugged and consumer devices make them a strong choice for organizations of all sizes, and a powerful growth lever for resellers.
Samsung’s Mobile eXperience (MX) business recently reported strong QoQ and YoY sales growth in the third quarter of 2025.
“In 2026, MX will strengthen its AI leadership with form factor innovations and expand AI smartphone sales to drive growth across all segments and strengthen its market share in terms of volume,” Samsung stated, adding that the company plans to “maintain cost efficiency via process optimization amid uncertainties and increasing material costs.”
Vertex Wireless, a top-tier Samsung distributor, continues to see strong demand for Samsung among resellers and end-customers.

“Industries such as field services, logistics, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and public sector continue to drive demand,” explained Sr. Director of Marketing and Business Development Mike Fleming. “Resellers that lead with use-case expertise, bundled services, security, and lifecycle support will be best positioned to capitalize on Samsung’s growing enterprise momentum.”
ChannelVision: What were some of your top-performing Samsung products from 2025?
Mike Fleming: In 2025, we saw strong performance across several Samsung platforms, led by the Galaxy Tab Active5, particularly in logistics, utilities, government, and field operations. The Galaxy XCover series continued to gain traction as a rugged smartphone option for frontline teams, while the Galaxy Tab A-Series, including Tab A9, performed exceptionally well in retail, education, and multi-device enterprise deployments. Across the board, Samsung Knox-enabled devices stood out as customers prioritized security, manageability, and scalability.
CV: Where are you seeing the most demand? Are there any emerging use cases that you want to highlight?
MF: We’re seeing the strongest AI-driven demand at the frontline edge, where speed, accuracy, and real-time insights matter most. Field service organizations are using AI-ready devices for remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance. Retail and warehouse customers are leveraging AI for inventory accuracy, task automation, and computer vision. In healthcare, AI-capable tablets are improving patient intake, bedside documentation, and secure access to data. An emerging trend is on-device AI processing, which allows insights to be generated locally rather than relying solely on the cloud — improving performance, reliability, and data privacy.
CF: Vertex recently launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Tactical Edition. Are you seeing a rising need for rugged and tactical devices?
MF: Yes, demand for rugged and tactical devices continues to rise. Government agencies, defense contractors, utilities, and public safety organizations need mobility solutions that perform reliably in mission-critical and extreme environments. The Galaxy Tab Active5 Tactical Edition addresses these needs with enhanced durability, security, and tactical-specific configurations. The trend is being driven by increased digital transformation at the edge, higher security requirements, and the reality that frontline teams need enterprise-grade devices they can depend on without compromise.
CV: Vertex recently announced an exciting collaboration with Samsung and Pepperl+Fuchs. How does this unique collaboration change the industrial mobile communications landscape? Why is it a big opportunity for resellers?
MF: This collaboration brings together Samsung’s enterprise mobile platforms with Pepperl+Fuchs’ industrial sensor and communications expertise to enable seamless connectivity between mobile workers and industrial environments. For resellers, this creates new opportunities in manufacturing, logistics, and hazardous environments, where mobility must integrate directly with industrial systems. It shifts the conversation from selling devices to delivering end-to-end operational intelligence, opening the door to higher-value, solution-based engagements.
CV: How does your company support partners when selling Samsung devices?
MF: The biggest opportunity for resellers heading into 2026 is moving beyond device transactions and into vertical-specific mobility solutions. Customers are no longer buying hardware alone — they’re investing in outcomes like increased productivity, improved safety, and real-time decision-making at the edge. At Vertex, our role goes far beyond distribution. Vertex acts as an extension of our partners’ teams. We support resellers with education, enablement, solution design, and execution — helping them select the right Samsung devices, navigate Knox, design mobility strategies, and scale deployments.
Beyond expertise, we provide fast, flexible logistics, including staging, kitting, and 3PL services. With nearly 20 years of B2B mobility experience and deep Samsung alignment, Vertex helps partners win more deals, reduce risk, and deliver better outcomes.
CV: Any tips for resellers when selecting a Samsung distributor?
MF: Resellers should look beyond pricing and ask whether a distributor truly understands their customers’ use cases, can help them scale from pre-sale to post-deployment, and has a proven track record with Samsung in the B2B and enterprise space. The right distributor doesn’t just move boxes — they help partners grow their business and deliver real value. That’s the difference between a vendor and a true partner.
