SDI Telecom, which provides mobile and VoIP-related businesses within the international telecom market, has signed a contract with Entel Chile for its international long distance (ILD) business, which concentrates on the Latino market.
SDI, specializes in IP interconnects for international voice termination services. This partnership will improve its quality and provide a better price offering for the Chilean and Peruvian communities, the company said. The partnership in the United States will aso leverage Entel’s partnerships in other South American countries. In addition, the companies will be exploring services such as top-ups, a mobile recharge service, to add value to the partnership.
Sohel Kapadia, SDI’s CEO said, “This is an interesting phase for SDI and long-term partnerships like these are going to be our core strategy going forward.”
