SilverSky Expands Team with Strategic Channel, Marketing Appointments

SilverSky, a multi-service cybersecurity provider that specializes in securing regulated organizations, has hired Ira Feuerstein as strategic partner manager and Vlad Krause as marketing coordinator. The moves come on the heels of Bruce Wirt assuming the role of chief revenue officer and mark the next phase of scalable growth as the company realigns its go-to-market organization to support channel expansion and increased market visibility.

“As organizations face increasing regulatory pressure, tighter security budgets and a wider range of threats, SilverSky has focused its go-to-market strategy to be driven through strategic partnerships that both align with SilverSky’s business strategy as well as hold trusted advisor status with key stakeholders across multiple positional levels in target customers across the SME and mid-market landscape,” officials said. “Strengthening execution with stronger channel partnerships and a clear differentiating value proposition has become a critical priority in this next phase of growth.”

Feuerstein will focus on helping partners sell cybersecurity more effectively as well as align services, pricing and delivery models with long‑term customer outcomes. He has more than 20 years of experience in technology sales, channel development and cybersecurity. He previously founded ThreatProtector, a cybersecurity company that grew quickly and was subsequently acquired by a larger organization. Throughout his career, Feuerstein has worked closely with MSPs, agents and strategic partners, and is credited with helping them uncover revenue opportunities, position cybersecurity effectively, and compete in demanding markets, officials said.

“I’m excited to join SilverSky and work with partners who want to grow their cybersecurity business the right way,” said Feuerstein. “Having built and exited a cybersecurity company myself, I understand what partners need to succeed, and SilverSky is positioned to help them deliver meaningful security outcomes for their customers.”

Vlad Krause

Krause will focus on translating SilverSky’s technical depth and operational maturity into clear, market‑facing narratives that resonate with executives, partners and security leaders. He has a background in digital marketing and previously worked at a channel‑focused marketing agency specializing in cybersecurity, SaaS, telecom and IT solutions. At SilverSky, he’ll lead marketing initiatives designed to increase brand clarity, strengthen digital engagement and support demand generation for the company’s advanced cybersecurity services, including its flagship managed extended detection and response (MXDR) offering.

“Cyber risk is a board‑level concern, and organizations need partners who can translate complex security investments into measurable risk reduction,” said Krause. “SilverSky is already doing that through its advisory‑led services and managed security operations, which makes this an important moment to help the market better understand its value.”

“Together, these appointments reflect SilverSky’s continued evolution—aligning leadership, partnerships and market engagement to support sustainable growth in a rapidly changing cybersecurity environment,” said Wirt. “As the company scales its MXDR and managed security offerings, its focus remains unchanged: delivering transparency, trust, and measurable risk reduction for customers and partners.

“Ira and Vlad bring exceptional expertise that will help us scale in two critical areas: channel development and marketing,” he added. “Ira’s experience in building successful partner ecosystems will strengthen how we deliver value through the channel, while Vlad’s marketing leadership will amplify our story and drive demand for our cybersecurity services. We will continue to add accomplished high performers to this organization. I’m extremely excited about the weeks and months to come.”
