Sinch AB has expanded its Rich Communication Services (RCS) for Business coverage across “all major Tier-1 U.S. mobile operators.” Via its Customer Communications Cloud, Sinch products and solutions are designed to orchestrate messaging across RCS, SMS, MMS and WhatsApp with built-in fallback and integration across channels email and voice, the company said.
RCS for Business is designed to help businesses boost customer engagement, click-throughs and purchase decisions by delivering personalized, branded and secure messaging at scale. It’s being deployed by major brands across numerous sectors including the gig economy and financial services, officials said.
The U.S. RCS market is growing rapidly, now reaching up to 75 percent of handsets among Sinch customers, the company said, adding that the momentum has been fueled in part from adoption by Apple.
Sinch powers more than 900 billion customer engagements annually, with Americas driving more than 60 percent of revenue, the company said.
