SIOS Technology, a provider of application high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, rolled out the SIOS LifeKeeper for Linux v9.9.0. This version introduces DR features such as synchronous and asynchronous data mirroring, intelligent failover mechanisms, enhanced security management, expanded language support and added Linux OS compatibility.
“Our latest release offers the flexibility to tailor HA replication strategies to meet specific needs while automating failover and ensuring reliable restoration processes,” said Masahiro Arai, SIOS’ COO. “By eliminating complex manual steps, we ensure faster recovery times and maintain data consistency across all environments, saving both time and reducing the potential for human error.”
Key features include:
- DR protection, including fully automated failover to DR nodes, flexibility to create synchronous and asynchronous replication for geographically separated DR sites, automated failover with no need for data resynchronization and a subscription add-on to optimize DR performance and data integrity.
- Intelligent failover for extended reliability, including automatically checking the status of secondary and tertiary nodes in a three-node cluster, streamlined failover processes and added redundancy protection.
- Updated security management, including bolstered security, maintainability and access control, plus elevated permissions.
Expanded language support via the SIOS LifeKeeper Web Management Console, plus the ability for single server protection to be managed through the updated Web Management Console.
