snom technology AG, an HP channel partner, has added HP’s Lync-optimized desktop IP phones to its portfolio.
The company’s global network of distributors and resellers can add the HP 4110 and HP 4120 IP phones to their unified communications (UC) portfolios.
“As the market for Microsoft Lync expands, businesses require the flexibility to deploy solutions that fit their specific needs, whether that’s Lync-optimized devices or Lync-qualified devices,” said Michael Knieling, COO of snom in Berlin. “We can offer more choices to our customers, whatever their needs may be.”
HP 4110 and 4120 IP phones are redesigned from the ground up according to Microsoft Lync specifications, are pre-installed with Microsoft’s Lync software, work only in a Lync UC environment and feature tight integration with Microsoft applications, including calendars and contacts.
HP will provide tier 1 support for the phones.
