Snowflake, an AI data cloud company, appointed Chris Niederman as SVP of alliances and channels. Upon taking office on July 21, Niederman will oversee the global channel and partner ecosystem, driving growth and collaboration through the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.

Niederman joins Snowflake after more than 30 years of technology experience, building and scaling partnership organizations that drive enterprise transformation. Prior to joining Snowflake, he spent 11 years at AWS, most recently as managing director of the AWS Industries and Solutions team leading worldwide partner strategy and industry transformation. Niederman helped build the Global Systems Integrators (GSI) business from inception. He also held partner sales positions with VMware.
