StartMeeting, which provides reservationless conferences of up to 1,000 lines, has released a new version of Meeting Wall, a customizable Web page that can be used with a particular meeting or for the customer’s business as a whole.
Meeting Wall lets the meeting host post different content to the integrated cloud storage feature, including documents, Web links and even videos. In addition, the host maintains full control of the meeting from the Web Controls dashboard on the Meeting Wall, which includes real-time active speaker monitoring and an integrated Q&A control panel.
“The ways our customers are using the Meeting Wall continues to evolve,” said Greg Plum, vice president of channel development for StartMeeting. “The fact that they can personalize the page with their company logo, color scheme, or custom wallpaper has made this feature a customer favorite.”
Recording management also has been enhanced to allow the host to pass-code protect an individual recording, while still providing sharing of the hosted content via Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube.
Further, StartMeeting recently introduced StartMeeting PRO for larger enterprises. StartMeeting PRO is a portal that allows customers to set up new users, delete users, and provision different features such as toll-free access, custom greeting and entry/exit tones.
