TouchTone to Offer Verified Branded Calling ID Solution

TouchTone Communications, an integrated communications service provider, announced its participation as an authorized partner originating service provider (OSP) within the Branded Calling ID (BCID) ecosystem. This industry-led, standards-based solution focuses on providing more secure, verifiable, branded caller ID across networks and mobile devices. 

Through this partnership, TouchTone can offer customers a verified branded calling solution across participating U.S. mobile carriers. Businesses can display authenticated caller information such as name, logo and reason for calling on the customer’s mobile screen. 

BCID is a standards-based framework, developed by and for the telecom industry. It leverages FCC-mandated STIR/SHAKEN call authentication protocols to validate caller identity, delivering branded content to improve call transparency. 

As an OSP, TouchTone is expected to play a key role in originating and delivering branded calls, ensuring they are properly vetted and trusted, end-to-end.
