Vocalocity has announced a rebranding option for its cloud-based platform, aimed at service provider partners looking to offer hosted IP PBX services and other communications services to their customers.
The offering comes with two implementation options: white label and network integration. For the former, partners create their own branded VoIP solution using a set of administration tools included in the Vocalocity platform. For the latter, partners integrate their networks with Vocalocity’s cloud-based, hosted PBX functionality to leverage Vocalocity’s infrastructure behind the solution.
The platform is based on Vocalocity’s own infrastructure, which it uses to manage VoIP services for nearly 20,000 customers and more than 120,000 end users. Service providers can leverage the same back-end software as a service (SaaS) to create an offering with low up-front costs and fast deployment.
“CornerStone chose to partner with Vocalocity on our custom cloud voice solution based on their out-of-the-box features designed specifically for the SMB market,” said Donald Walsh, CTO at CornerStone Telephone. “The ability to go to market without extensive upfront costs was a major differentiator. We benefit from Vocalocity’s proven technology, and are able to provide a new solution to our customers which complements the services that CornerStone currently offers.”
Vocalocity also will provide marketing resources and materials along with sales support to service providers in the program. Marketing materials include information sheets, data sheets, user guides and whitepapers, as well as syndicated content for partners to host on the Web.
“The market for VoIP services in the SMB segment continues to accelerate, presenting a terrific business opportunity for everyone as customers find they can save money and get a much better service that helps them grow their business,” said Wain Kellum, CEO of Vocalocity. “If fastest growth rates and best customer retention are indicators of leadership in the SMB segment, Vocalocity has established itself as the clear leader.”
He added, “We are pleased to be able to offer Vocalocity’s cloud-based infrastructure to service providers that want to build a similar business in the market they serve, and we’re excited to have CornerStone on board as one of our early partners.”
