VoIP Innovations (VI) has launched the VI Showroom platform, which is an extension of the capabilities available within VI’s Apidaze CPaaS (communications platform as a service) offering.
The VI Showroom allows developers to distribute apps and services they build to VI’s channel and client base of 2,000 service providers and enterprises.
It provides VI’s channel partners and resellers access to white-labeled CPaaS, as well as pre-built communications apps and services, creating a simple path to participate in the estimated $8.1 billion marketplace for CPaaS services.
Initial applications and services will include natively-developed apps, as well as solutions from Voxist, VoIPly, and FaxLogic.
The Showroom is a versatile platform that caters to three audiences:
- Developers can publish and monetize apps and services they create.
- Resellers can white label the Showroom and offer value-added CPaaS enabled apps and services.
- Business subscribers can purchase pre-built communications apps and services.
Developers can create communications services in the admin console and then leverage the Showroom as a global distribution platform to monetize the service. This gives them access to an established sales channel with thousands of potential customers.
Through the admin console, developers can manage their services and subscribers with detailed reports, such as commissions and number of subscribers, messages and minutes. Developers can access reseller features as well.
Resellers will have the ability to white label the Showroom and its CPaaS features under their own brand. This gives them a one-of-a-kind solution that has the potential to grow their business on a global scale to better serve existing clients and to win new ones.
Reselling the Showroom can also help to differentiate resellers from their competition and increase customer satisfaction by providing a wide range of pre-built apps. Resellers who are also interested in developing their own services in the admin console will have access to the developer platform as well. Existing VI customers who want to use the Showroom will automatically have single-sign-on access between the VI BackOffice.
Business subscribers can purchase pre-built services listed in the VI Showroom. Initial services include two-factor authentication from VI, advanced voicemail from Voxist, high volume fax from FaxLogic, and business SMS from VoIPLy Online.
