WatchGuard Technologies, a global provider of unified cybersecurity services announced the WatchGuard Zero Trust Bundle, a streamlined solution targeted at MSPs and organizations of all sizes. The solution unifies identity, endpoint, access and network tool capabilities into a continuously validating, cloud-delivered framework, the company said.
WatchGuard officials cited an increase in evasive malware attacks on identities and endpoints, including via encrypted channels, as reasons for needing continuous identity checks, device validation and session-level enforcement to work cohesively together, not as separate tools.
“This is our first powerful step into unifying zero trust and modernizing network security,” said Andrew Young, chief product officer and SVP of product. “Zero trust works when tools work together. Our Zero Trust Bundle unifies identity, device, access and XDR, so our partners can deliver stronger security and scalable services. Over time, our zero trust story will extend directly into the network stack itself, creating one continuous, adaptive security model.”
Key components to the bundle include adaptive MFA, SSO, risk scoring and dark web credential monitoring to identify exposed credentials early as well as endpoint protection, detection and response (EPDR) for continuous device health checks, automated prevention, and Zero-Trust Application control.
In addition, FireCloud Total Access is designed to unify firewall as a service (FWaaS), secure web gateway (SWG) and zero trust network access (ZTNA) to block web threats and enforce least-privilege access to approved apps.
The solutions operate through WatchGuard Cloud and ThreatSync XDR to offer unified correlation, automated containment, simplified licensing, automation and multi-tenant operations for MSP efficiency, the company said.
Dark web credential monitoring extends zero trust earlier in the authentication process by proactively checking for compromised credentials before attackers can use them, officials said.
The Zero Trust Bundle replaces the legacy Passport offering.
