Windstream Enterprise has introduced a security information and event management (SIEM) service to help businesses handle difficult regulatory and compliance requirements.
According to a recent study, malicious or criminal attacks account for 52 percent of breaches in the U.S. These breaches, coupled with human error and system glitches, cost U.S. firms an average of $7.91 million per incident, including costs for mitigation and revenue loss due to customer churn.
Windstream Enterprise’s SIEM service monitors for threats and responds to those detected in business networks. Log retention is available for devices that are monitored and can be securely archived for up to seven years.
