Curt Allen has left his position as Vonage’s channel chief, after accepting the position last July.
The departure appears tied to Vonage’s appointment last June of Rory Read to become CEO and to serve on the board of directors.
Allen will be replaced by Jim Regan, who previously was vice president of channels.
Regan says his new role is a natural extension of his experiences with the company and his work with the channel globally.
Vonage plans to invest in initiatives this year to enhance its channel model. This includes additional support in key markets, new infrastructure to make it easier for partners to do business with Vonage, and additional selling models and product differentiators.
