Managed cybersecurity solutions provider ArmorPoint LLC has hired Stephan Tallent as its new chief sales officer to lead the company’s growth and customer-acquisition initiatives. He succeeds Ashley Capps, former interim chief revenue officer, who has transitioned into the company’s chief marketing officer role, the company said.
Tallent joins ArmorPoint from Cyware, where he was head of MSSPs and global system integration (GSI). He has more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity leadership roles across the MSSP and channel ecosystem, including building global partner programs, leading incident response and threat intelligence teams, and advising organizations on emerging risks, officials said.
“We’re thrilled to start the new year by having Stephan join our team,” said David Trapp, CEO of ArmorPoint. “As we continue to expand our solutions, services and partner program, his deep knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and proven track record of successful sales leadership will be invaluable and help to ensure customer and partner success.”
“Over the last several years, I’ve been impressed by ArmorPoint’s continued growth and dedication to ensuring partners and customers have the best-in-class cybersecurity solutions needed to thrive in the current business environment,” Tallent said. “I could not be more thrilled to join the team and play a role in ensuring that growth and level of service continues.”
ArmorPoint’s partner program is tailored for MSPs, MSSPs and resellers, and offers a suite of cybersecurity management solutions, from managed SOC to strategic risk management and cybersecurity consulting, the company said.
