Abacus Group, a MSP that services financial firms with cybersecurity expertise via its Gotham Security company, revamped its integrated IT, security solutions and services to address changing financial services’ need.
The enhanced offering will specifically provide easy-to-select, comprehensible packages that can be tailored to emerging, established, regulated and sophisticated, high-tech firms, in addition to guidance on what is regulator and investor-friendly. This one-stop-shop solution will be provided under the “One Abacus” umbrella, following the company’s acquisition of the cybersecurity provider last year.
This strategic change will allow Abacus to manage client IT and security requirements, focusing on helping financial services firms navigate changing cybersecurity threats and aligning with operational due diligence and regulatory requirements. This includes the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the U.S., the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the U.K., and the Digital and Operational Resiliency Act (DORA) for European entities.
At the core of its solutions is abacusFlex, a comprehensive, secure, compliant, integrated MSP and MSSP ecosystem, which is employed by over 700 financial services customers globally. The solution provides clients with security controls through a single, scalable platform. abacusFlex will now be available via three tailored packages:
- CyberBasic – baseline cybersecurity protection and fast onboarding for emerging and non-regulated firms.
- CyberCore – security protection for regulated financial services firms, addressing operational due diligence.
o CyberEnterprise – cyber-governance capabilities and advanced technology for regulated firms, with governance and risk management add-on services powered by Gotham Security.
