Aeris, a global provider of cellular connectivity platforms and solutions, this week officially launched its expanded global partner ecosystem designed to empower technology advisors, distributors, VARs, MSPs, OEMs and carriers to deliver secure, scalable IoT and fixed wireless access (FWA) solutions.
The move coincides with growth in IoT and FWA adoption by enterprises in sectors such as retail, healthcare, manufacturing and smart buildings, the company said, citing research from Allied Market Research, which projects the global IoT market reach $5.3 trillion by 2034, as well as Fortune Business Insights, which expects the FWA market to expand to $127.6 billion by 2032.
“The IoT and FWA markets are among the largest growth opportunities,” said Aziz Benmalek, CEO of Aeris. “Enterprises everywhere need solutions that unify connectivity, visibility and security. The best way to meet that demand is through partners. That’s why we’ve expanded our global partner ecosystem, enabling more businesses to scale cellular-connected assets through our platform with built-in cross-carrier operational insight and security.”
The expanded Aeris Partner Program is designed to replace fragmented connectivity and security models with one integrated, scalable solution for IoT and FWA, officials said.
“IoT is evolving from a side initiative into mission-critical infrastructure for modern enterprises,” said Rob Holley, head of channel, new routes to market, for Aeris. “That shift uncovers unprecedented opportunities for partners not only to provide connectivity, but to secure, manage and monetize the full IoT lifecycle. The expanded Aeris Partner Program is designed to help them lead that transformation and drive scalable, profitable growth.”
The expanded program now connects a wide range of channel and technology partners through an ecosystem built around the Aeris IoT Accelerator global connectivity management platform and Aeris IoT Watchtower security, monitoring and analysis solution.
As designed, channel partners enable access to Aeris IoT solutions through trusted sales channels, including technology advisors, technology services distributors (TSDs) and VARs, while service provider partners deliver managed, secure IoT and FWA services via MSPs, application service providers (ASPs) and systems integrators (SIs).
In addition, technology alliance partners embed Aeris connectivity and security directly into devices and applications in partnerships with OEMs and independent software vendors (ISVs), and mobile network operator partners extend the Aeris platform through established carrier relationships with mobile network operators (MNOs) and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs).
The platform offers one set of policies and one management interface covering operational and security services, across more than 190 countries, officials said. It’s intended to give enterprises confidence in working with trusted partners who provide secure, global IoT connectivity backed by Aeris’ ecosystem. With built-in analytics, Zero Trust security and a streamlined deployment model, customers are expected to achieve faster time to value while receiving ongoing support from a network of leading technology and service providers, the company said.
