American Tower closed the sale of its 100 percent equity stake of its operations in India, ATC India, to Data Infrastructure Trust (DIT). This infrastructure investment trust sis ponsored by an affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management.
Total cash proceeds associated with the transaction represent represent INR 210 billion ($2.5 billion).
As a result of the transaction, results associated with ATC India will now be reported as discontinued operations.
