ANPI has announced Michael Cromwell as chief sales officer. Cromwell will lead all ANPI direct and indirect sales efforts targeting SMBs, enterprises and carriers.
“As we sought to augment our executive leadership team to include a chief sales officer, we knew we needed more than a successful sales manager, we needed a well-rounded leader who also could execute go to market strategies while managing various distribution models,” said ANPI CEO, Dave Lewis. “I look forward to Mike’s contributions of implementing company strategy, developing business plans, building sales strategy, and most of all, executing in a manner that delivers sales and revenue results for the organization.”
Prior to joining the company, Cromwell was the senior vice president, sales and marketing at XO Communications, where he directed commercial service sales efforts across all segments and distribution channels effectively leading 500+ employees across 35 markets to deliver $1.1 billion in annual revenue.

Preceding his tenure at XO, Cromwell held various leadership positions at Global Crossing ranging from regional director to ultimately leading all sales, service and engineering efforts as regional vice president of the West region. Prior to Global Crossing, he also held various sales and leadership positions with Frontier Communications and Allnet Communications. Cromwell earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
