ANPI Appoints VP Carrier Services

ANPI has named Gary Fry as vice president of carrier solutions. As part of the agreement, ANPI has also formed a long-term partnership with Mr. Fry’s former company, United Gateway, a facility-based provider of domestic and international voice communication services located in Dallas.

Fry will focus on managing the ANPI legacy carrier business, as well as the relationship with United Gateway. He will be responsible for reducing the cost of providing key services, developing new products, expanding strategic industry relationships and growing the carrier and service provider customer base. With the changes to intercarrier compensation and other FCC regulatory items, ANPI is lookingto add new value to its legacy customer base, as well as the broader community of switchless resellers and service providers.

Fry brings almost 20 years of experience to ANPI. Prior to United Gateway, he served in executive positions at a number of successful companies, including Verizon (Willtel), Americatel/Matrix, Pacific Gateway, Exchange and ANI Networks. He also served two terms as a member of the COMPTEL Board of Directors, and has assisted the association in meetings with the FCC and Congress on the state of communications competition in the United States.

“Gary is highly regarded in our industry as an authority on both domestic and international phone service,” said Dave Lewis, CEO ANPI. “He has accomplished a great deal with United Gateway, and we expect him to bring the same energy and expertise to the expansion of our product and service offerings to carriers including the Hosted Unified Communications Private Label Package.
