ANPI Taps Bailey as New Channel Head

ANPI has named Ronald Bailey to the position of senior vice president and general manager of business solutions, where he will assume the role of channel chief, among other roles.

In this role Bailey leads an executive management team responsible for all aspects of product development, operations and establishment of both indirect and direct channel management.

No stranger to the organization, Mr. Bailey architected the company’s tandem access services, which were brought to market in 2009. Prior to returning to ANPI, Bailey spent time at CenturyLink as vice president of sales in the regional marketing group, where he guided all aspects of direct and indirect sales for the middle market organization in the Mountain and Midwest Regions.

“As we started our initial planning to dramatically increase the focus, energy and investment devoted to our business services segment, we committed to assembling a world class team,” said Dave Lewis, ANPI CEO. “We tapped Ronnie to lead our business solutions group by virtue of his broad disciplinary background and acumen in the business solutions space, as well as his clear leadership abilities. His historic familiarity with the organization and commitment to lead the creation of a new chapter in our corporate narrative as a leading business solutions service provider creates, without question, an energizing advancement for us.”

Bailey added, “It is an exciting time for communication providers leading the charge of aligning technological advancements with changing consumer preferences. ANPI has always progressively looked into the future and is uniquely-positioned to deliver a level of support and services for both the carrier and SMB markets.”

ANPI provides carrier services to the ILEC, CLEC, IXC and regional wireless carrier markets, as well as IP communications directly to small/medium businesses via its channel partners.

Bailey has held executive management roles with GTE, MCI and MCI WorldCom, in finance, product management, pricing and business development, and he served as senior vice president of customer operations for Cypress Communications.  At Z-Tel, Bailey was responsible for both consumer and business marketing strategy, including product management, pricing and sales while he was executive vice president of business and consumer services.

Bailey earned his bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in mathematics from the University of Texas in Austin and attended Southern Methodist University for post graduate studies in finance.
