AppDirect, a B2B subscription commerce platform, has acquired vCom Solutions. The transaction includes vCom’s network and mobility lifecycle management platform as well as its Buyers’ Club program and managed services. As a result, the vCom platform will be integrated into AppDirect’s recently launched unified lifecycle management platform, officials said.
vCom recently transitioned to a channel-first company by turning its direct sales team into independent advisors, who will now operate under a different brand. The vCom acquisition rounds out AppDirect’s tech stack, which includes several recent acquisitions, to provide an advisors network and mobility lifecycle management in one converged platform, officials said.

The acquisition will also allow AppDirect to give its partner community access to vCom’s wholesale Buyers’ Club, increasing sales opportunities for its 14,000 advisors.

The acquisition is the latest in a series for AppDirect including Tackle.io, a cloud go-to-market platform, and NXTSYS Consulting. The company has also made strategic acquisitions to streamline hardware and energy purchases in North America in addition to new platforms for managed services and marketplace solutions, the company said.
