AVANT, the master agent and technology distributor, has hired Ron Hayman as its chief cloud officer (CCO).
Hayman will oversee the company’s cloud strategy,including distribution via channel partners.
Hayman has more than 15 years of experience in IT leadership with organizations such as the U.S. Navy, Headhunter.net, CareerBuilder.com and Liaison Technologies. Hayman’s past professional achievements include: deploying over 20 data centers across the globe including London, Amsterdam, Singapore and Bangalore; leading major security and compliance initiatives for Service Organization Control (SOC), Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX); and leading network, colocation, contact center and cloud deployments. He holds over 15 certifications, including VMware VSP – CP & VCA – DCV & VOP – CP 2015, CISCO DCUCI v5.0 Data center Unified Computing, 2014, (ISC)2 CISSP, 2013, CompTIA Security +, and more.

One of Hayman’s first objectives will be launching AVANT’s security practice, bringing the best subscription-based security services to its partners. In addition to building upon AVANT’s technology innovation objectives, Hayman will also lead and manage its engineering team with the goal of strengthening the company’s overall sales enablement strategy and world class support for its partners.
