BCN Solutions Express Extends Cloud Business Apps, MPLS/DIA Reach

BCN Solutions Express has announced enhanced options for its sales partners and VARs to move further into the cloud, while bolstering their multi-location data strategies.

“Our goal is to embrace new opportunities for our partners to build fresh revenue streams, while serving their customers in a unique, consultative way,” explained Mike McCrosson, executive vice president of sales and marketing for BCN Solutions Express. “We want to give them the tools to offer the best footprint, product set and pricing combination for any customer, including growing innovations like hosted business applications, and multi-node MPLS and DIAs.”

The company will be exhibiting at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo, taking place Feb. 27 – March 1 at the Venetian & Sands Expo in Las Vegas. SkySphere, its cloud services partner, will be on hand at the BCN Solutions Express booth (Booth # 3037) to discuss how BCN Solutions Express channel partners can add hosted business services, such as cloud-based Microsoft Exchange and hosted Sharepoint, to their portfolios for a differentiating business applications sale.

“Working together, SkySphere and BCN Solutions Express provide partners with a best-in-class business services portfolio that combines wired and mobile connectivity with mission-critical apps for a secure ‘office-in-the-cloud’ play,” the company said.

“SkySphere’s hosted e-mail is also encrypted, fulfilling a new regulatory requirement for accounting firms and other financial institutions to implement encrypted communications in 2014—and offering channel partners a new conversation to have inside that vertical,” said Tom McCrosson, president and CEO at BCN Solutions Express.

BCN Solutions Express is also expanding its transort portfolio to include opportunities for building customized, full redundant DIA and MPLS solutions with the addition of a new major technology partner. The partnership (the company was not discloseed)  adds further penetration into Tier 2, 3 and rural markets foor the company, and deepens its presence in existing metros. McCrosson said that channel parters can thus craft multiple Internet access methods to accommodate various budgets, speeds and geographic locations all on one bill; ideal for national, multi-location customers.

“We are excited about the addition of  a data network with NNI capabilities that meshes 150+ carrier networks into one data service provider,” added McCrosson. “When you combine that with the breadth and depth of the solutions that we already have in the portfolio, our channel partners gain the unprecedented ability to bundle an MPLS solution across DSL, cable broadband, Ethernet over copper, carrier TDM or Metro Ethernet connections, in a tailored, redundant approach that really puts the ‘solution’ into the term ‘solution provider.’”
