Bicom Systems Partners with Virtual Computing

Bicom Systems announced a partnership with Netherland-based Virtual Computing, an ICT service provider that services small- to medium-sized business. Virtual Computing, which has more than 10 years of experience in hosting online work spaces and manages more than 2,000 end users across the globe, will be utilizing Bicom’s PBXware Multi-Tenant edition to meet its need for a hosted option that is reliable and innovative, along with Bicom’s gloCOM GO to help expand with a mobile app.

According to Robin Damen, founder of Virtual Computing, the company was facing rapid growth and evolving technology and was frustrated by its current PBX vendor. Constant software changes made it difficult to use and were not user-friendly; selling an on-premises solution meant a big chunk of his time was spent driving out to customer locations; and the high cost was stretching his budget too thin for comfort, said Damen.

Damen learned that one of his customers was using PBXware by Bicom Systems, and during a visit to its location, he was able to tinker with the software. After a testing phase with Bicom that lasted a few months, Virtual Computing officially signed on as a Bicom Systems partner, completed the migration process and expanded its product offering to reflect the newer technologies. Since adopting the multi-tenant cloud PBX solution, Virtual Computing has been able to save time, meet budgets and reach a wider range of customers in new markets, said Damen.

“The Multi-Tenant edition is easy to use and highly scalable,” he says. Unlike the previous platform, “PBXware works consistently; no more restarting and troubleshooting.”
