Bitsight Closes Acquisition of Cybersixgill

Cyber-risk management company Bitsight successfully closed the acquisition of Cybersixgill, a real-time cyber threat intelligence provider. The transaction is expected to allow Bitsight to better help enterprises proactively identify, prioritize and mitigate cyber-risk, with a holistic view of the extended attack surface and the threats that target it.

By combining Bitsight’s asset mapping capabilities with Cybersixgill real-time threat insights, security teams can gain access to a unified solution for more quickly pinpointing, prioritizing and addressing emerging threats. The integration will allow organizations to stay ahead of attackers by correlating external attack surface exposures with actionable intelligence.
