Broadvox is showcasing enhancements to its hosted communications service for channel partners, which leverages the recently announced interoperability between BroadSoft’s unified communications (UC) services, BroadSoft’s BroadWorks platform and the Polycom VVX Business Media Phone portfolio.
In the latest release of the platform, Broadvox further integrated its Hosted Communications feature set with the Polycom VVX line, by enabling features on the phone such access to the enterprise directory, access to other users’ presence and the bility to view contacts as favorites.

Broadvox Hosted Communications, launched in July of this year, is a cloud-based voice and collaboration service that combines phone service, voicemail, desktop sharing, web collaboration, video calling, instant messaging, and presence and fax to connect businesses, their employees and customers. These services are accessible over a range of user devices including PC, Mac, mobile phone and IP desk phones.
The Broadvox Communicator suite of client apps, based on BroadSoft’s UC-One platform, integrate telephony, conferencing, video, instant message and presence and other collaboration features into one user interface.
